Dr. Eric Stretch is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Registered Acupuncturist. He studied at the Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as the Alberta College of Acupuncture and TCM.
Eric believes in treating the body as a whole unit and taking advantage of all techniques available to him in order to enable the body to heal itself. Depending on the condition, some of the tools he will use are acupuncture (including dry needling, traditional, and electro-acupuncture), cupping, tuina massage, herbal prescriptions and dietary adjustments.
Typical treatments will include a thorough initial consultation addressing all areas of relevant information, followed by a detailed report of findings and treatment plan. Eric strongly believes in educating his patients to make sure they are satisfied with the treatments and their direction.
Acupuncture and TCM have been proven effective for an incredibly diverse list of conditions. Eric has had success with pain management and musculoskeletal/sports injuries such as back pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, arthritis, and migraines. Eric also treats many psychological disorders including stress, insomnia, anxiety, depression, various digestive problems as well as male and female reproductive conditions.
