What Is a Running Gait Analysis?
Our gait analysis involves video recording from two vantage points of your running technique on a treadmill. Specific points are used to analyze your run in slow motion to determine different aspects like: symmetry of motion, muscle activation patterns, posture, and cadence. The sessions also includes an analysis of your run in different scenarios which provides incite on what shoes you should wear, what gait pattern you should adopt and what cadence works for you.
Combined with a functional movement and strength analysis, you will walk away with a personalized assessment and program that will allow you to increase your running performance and decrease injury. The written analysis includes: the written analysis of your gait pattern, summary and conclusions on this analysis, recommendations and a personalized exercise program with incremental progressions.
